Roy is my real name
by birth this is true
but all who know me call me poet
it's the name I answer to
this name to me holds so much honor
Respect & dignity
the only way I know to show
the truth inside of me
the truth is when I tell a tale
I never wonder why
the words I write are honest
they will not tell a lie
it's just my way of writing
actually everything I do
the way I raise my family
if you must say it,say it true
my word is my bond
& always will be
in this way I speak of anything
& what it means to me
writing is a gift of love
I believe without a doupt
so I hope these words will help someone
to find there own way out
