anything that I do
& everywhere I go
it does'nt take very long
till everybody knows
I'm country to the bone
the way that I should be
well I forgot who I was writing about
but this is simply me
taking care of bussiness
a main priority
trying to make this life a simple one
full of hospitlity
I say yes mamm to all woman
a respect that some guy's were never gave
& it just means I'm respectful
it does'nt mean I'm from a cave
we brand a mark like a lot of folks
have simply never seen
you'de have to walk in my shoes
to see just what I mean
I'm not saying that I'm different
from any man I've ever met
I love watching woman walking by
but I will not forget
with every new day of life
lifes challenges are my chore
no matter what it throws at me
I'm still country to the core
