I have come to a place in my life where i have buried the past
And the mourning of the funeral is over at last
Because though the past is put to rest, the memories that brought me joy will always be
Right here inside of me
I lived through and survived and now i must move forward knowing
That all the goodness Im feeling is what will be showing
Because you father, helped me to understand, that i was living in the land of ghost
Staying among the pains and hurts and all the people i lost and love the most
But through it all Im learning to keep you first
Because i have a need, a hunger, and wisdom and knowledge is my thirst
One that could only be quenched by coming to you, for love, guidance and patience enough to understand
That through you i can reach the Promised Land
A land overflowing with milk and honey, a place i can finally be free of this sinful birth
And be a part of the new heaven on earth
To be with you father, the thought is so awesome, that it makes me want to cry
And its knowing that i am going to finally be with you is the reason why
An overwhelming feeling that keeps me striving to be the best me, i can be
Dear father, i want you to be so proud of me
And as i continue to fall and get up, on this journey to be with you
Just keep loving and hugging me through and through
As i become whole and new
I will never ever stop loving and praising you

I wrote this because i read a single phrase in a book and it touched me. So i wrote
The feelings that i brought out in me. Thank you father for loving me through it all
For opening my heart and mind.

desire,this is beautiful if you are the writer I would bet you this much,your father is & always has been proud of you,take it from a dad,a fathers love is always unconditional,no matter what,

A beautiful and compelling piece indeed.
Draws you in and refuses to let you go until, that's how it felt for me.
Work like this inspires me to write more, a kind of sustenance to the mind.
