The surface youd think was happy, strong, independent
In this life now led
Events caused choices that were made
Have come with the greatest sacrifice, sadness and sorrow.
A lonely lie of a life
Unable to share or gift the wealth of goodness that is within
But constantly craving a need to give, to love and to be loved.
Can finally see why such a special union was regularly rejected
Easy to see why when one, it was so beautiful
Yet couldnt understand when separated why the cold and cruel would come
And why the good were so few.
Always pointing the finger
Passing on the blame
Not thinking the reason was in the mirror
For it was not your fault
But the whore you fell in love with.
