I can't believe this is happening
I can't believe what you're saying
Your words keep echoing,
Your eyes swollen and tears streaming
It's time to end,

You just want to be my friend.

I'm trying to understand,
But my heart is in strands.

So many lonely nights under the stars,
Wondering where you are.
