Sport
To say I like sport is true
The football, tennis and darts too
You cant beat the live events
The athletes competing for a win
If you dont see my work for a while
Im usually watching sports
From the Olympic100mitres final, to the Wimbledon championships
Cheering on my heroes, Ill be
Hanging with my mom and her big screen TV
Analyzing and providing facts and commentary
We love sport in our family, my mom and me
Bring on the Olympics
Ive took 2weeks holiday

| I like how you were able to express yourself. Most people believe that poetry is more than just a few rhymes. If you want to add a little flair to your poem, maybe you should add a simile, metaphor, personification, or something of the sorts. But, as long as you were able to express yourself and had fun, then good job! Thanks for the read! :-) |
