Swim Until You Cant See Land

A silence in the dark and an absence of a spark
Doesnt matter.
The extinguishing of dreams and life tearing at the seams
Doesnt matter.
The sense of isolation and the fear of condemnation
Just doesnt matter.
The darkness in your head and the fight to leave your bed,
It doesnt matter.

Swim until you cant see land
Swim until you cant see land
Swim until you cant see land
When all there is gets out of hand.

Get tired of taking pills and paying bills
They dont matter.
You see the impending doom intruding from the gloom
It doesnt matter.
Was it just a turn of fate that brought on self hate?
Doesnt matter.

Swim until you cant see land
Swim until you cant see land
Swim until you cant see land
Drowning is all thats left to understand.

So you get a length of rope because youre devoid of hope,
Doesnt matter.
You get a vacant stare because you think that you dont care
And it doesnt matter.
And you left them all behind because you felt trapped and confined
Didnt matter.

So you swim until you cant see land
Swim until you cant see land
Swim until you cant see land
Draw a last line in the sand.
