Looking ahead... we fail to ponder, why love plants these seeds....she laughs as we wander,
a seed within hope... a seed in despair, a see inside seeds... surrounded in air...
With roots that grow deep... and drink up the sea, we worry of things... that will never be,
closing my eyes... I drink in the light, and when i wake up... surrounded by night,
it grow in my veins... dark crystal... so frail, and out of my soul... in powder... it sails,
I'll open my heart and watch the seed fly, come whisper to me... love grows as we cry,
No tears for love... no songs for the dead, sing for the rose... both crimson and red.

I guess if the seed never grows, though, then it wasn't meant to be.
Again, another interesting perspective and metaphor. Nicely done.
Thanks,

One of the deepest poems from you I've ever read. Heart-warming I might add, I love it :) |
