in the sunshine state here we are stuck we cannot get out even driving my truck
all the roads are flooded for miles around no way to even get into town
this storm has hovered the fourth day in a row when will it end no one seems to know
yet I hold us together with all of my might I promise my family it will be alright
through any weather or disaster that comes I will do what it takes what must be done
I uphold the balance of good & bad my fear is of nothing my job is the dad the hot shot poet
