So naked

I've been stripping away the false narratives I've been telling myself
the false self the ego
With a flick of the wrist I swipe away layer after layer
It can be so cold so scary
To be so naked
Things I once forgot arise again
Memories flood back like a refreshing storm
Where will I go? Who will I be?
I find me once again under the sun
aware of the false narratives
not needing their warmth
any longer

I'm stuned by the depth you put in this with so few sentences, with so few words. Amazing isn't enough. Maybe outstanding. With every letter is another ache to the heart. Whatever memorys that stabs into your mind, I hope you can heal it. Great work. |
