RIP. Michael

Topic: FriendshipPoetry

Cold and gone, heart beats dead.
See the tears, hear their mopes.
See the sorrow. See them grieve.
Loved and missed, needed and wanted.

Can you hear my cries?
Do you see my pain?
Destroyed, and full of crazed emotion.
Reminiscing over the memories.
Think back to the day I last saw your face.
Happy and bright, you were my light. One year is too long.
A year ago you were taken away.
Every single day I'm missing you, everyday I think back to the day you went away.

Bestfriend I never forget, one day I'll see you again.
We'll be together & never part.
Never let you go, I know your looking down.
I know your seein me break down.
Angel up there are hero down on earth.
Too young, but lived to the full, they say the good die young.
You were the best.

I remember the day and the words you said,
' the day I die, no one will care'
how wrong you were I can't explain.
You were a friend to everyone, a best friend to most, & a brother to more.
A brother to me & one to the boys.
The older brother I never got, but always needed.
You were there, you had my back, there when I fell you brought me up high.

Heart beat cold but a love so strong.
I'll love you today, I'll love you tomorrow I have never given up & never forgotten.
My best friend;

Michael Alexander steep. I love you. 16-12-94~24-02-11

The passing of a dear friend is truly sad--and yet the hope with it that you shall see him in the next life brings a twist of sweetness to the nostalgia. Eloquently written this is and it is straightforward with its message,
Deidra

At first I thought it was gonna be a tribute to the late great Michael Jackson, but it wasn't, I found this very creative, I like it a lot and coming from your heart is always a great write no matter what it is, keep it up man, lots of love (Not being gay lol)
