Artist of deception
You take your palette
Of human emotions
To your blank canvas
And thereupon splatter
Paint and scrawl
A sarcastic ghost
A fallacious leer
A fraudulent lure.
The veneer is thin
My friend
And the truth
Black and yellow
Is oozing from your pores
The mask is falling,
Falling--
Dripping from your chin to the ground
And your eyes
Plea for sympathy
Plea for understanding.
Speak your mind
Always
Never hide
Behind a painted smile.

Quite creative and descriptive! I like how the "mask falling" is dramatized. Goes to show: genuinity prevails,
