Olympicus Londonus, it is here at last
With opening wonder chimneys and cast
Olympics spectacular
Athletes at their peak
16 days of competition
To weed out the elite
Gold medal, for winner
Silver for a personal goal fulfilled
Bronze for the lucky
Nothing for the rest but national pride
Olympians we saut you
From TV screens, laptops, i-phones and radio
You are magnificent
