Disavow the pain
And allow the tears to fall like rain
Do not worry and never fret
Life will always be full of regret
Hold no disdain
Let nothing happen in vain
Life is an anomaly that none can comprehend
Thus allow your mind to mend
Forget these things that trouble you so
For pain love and joy will come and go
Yet the heart is eternal
And it machinations infernal
So disavow the pain
Lest you go insane

Great poem! I like the rhyming and the theme I can relate to its dark nature. I like the positive message of it as well. It has a nice human feel.

I like it.
At "And it machinations infernal" you need an s at the it, and in my opinion, it should be machination with no s. It can go either way though, and overall the poem is great.
also note that I have had no sleep. |
