a friend is a person
that right from the start
you feel confident
to pour out your heart
things you've kept burried
so deep inside
you feel you will bust
if you continue to hide
if you trust this friend
then right from the start
you will feel secure
to pour out your heart
with things that have huanted you
threw most of your life
have peirced your soul
like a very sharp knife
but when a friend is true
they will do there best
to create a path
so you heart can rest
they cant take away
the hurt inside
but threw showing compasion
to restore your pride
to unlock the cage
where you store your heart
to release the rage
that tore you apart
so with these words
the message I send
I am truly honored
to be your friend

I love love love this poem, because
it is so true, because I have a wonderful
friend like this in my life. I don't know how
I got by without him, everyday talking to him
laughing. Everyday is a healing day.
he is a blessing In my life, and it will never be
the same. All I can do is hope that in some way
I bring something to his life.
