Always your friend never your man
Going insane for I have no plan
How do I kiss you and show what is inside?
How do I deal with this pain that seems inane?
Oh what do I say?
Oh what shall I do?
When I am staring down the barrel of love
That is you
Just give me an answer
Just give me a sign
Let me no longer Lose my mind
This pain that I feel
Knowing all too well it is real
Wasting away thinking of you
Glory be tell me what should I do
Im falling apart and falling away
Tell me oh tell me what do I say
Friendship is fine and is all well
But in my mind to me it is hell
I fall apart little by little
Like a block of wood
My heart you do whittle
It kills me inside oh can you not see
I no longer wish to be just a friend to thee
I would give you my sorrow
Ill give you my joy
Yet you step on the heart of this poor boy
My heart it is broken my blood falling like rain
Oh how could you treat me with such disdain?
I am all alone through every night
To wake in the morning is a perilous fight
I can stand no longer for I only no pain
The of friendship that is its name
So leave to wallow sad and alone
Go back to him in your dysfunctional home
He beats you and hates these things I would not do
Yet here I am only a friend to you

Hi, I know all too well what you're going through! I was there in your shoes back in 1982. I had a female friend, but i wanted to be more than friends with her. It hurt so bad at times, but more than friendship did not happen, because it was not meant to be. Yes, you hurt because your heart desires this person and it will. You will feel alone until you learn to accept friends you will only be. You can not force someone to have feelings for you. If she does not have the same feelings of wanting more with you, then it would be a one sided relationship, even if she gave you a chance. My suggestion to you is to let it go. I am sure she senses that you want to be more than just friends, trust me. If so, then it's all it will be unless you back off and change your feelings. Then, that girl will notice and she will realize what kind of person you are. Then there might be a chance for you.
