Airplanes hung above In my heaven, up above Cables, wires, intertwined With my veins deep inside
I'm flying, flying To a heaven with no wings Like a broken kite With torn up strings.
Like a fallen ceramic doll My face has cracked open And even though, I might not be real I felt the pain you always feel

Hmmmm...interesting. Like the touch of empathy with the last line. Nice. |

Wow, this was amazing. I loved how the poem shifted with the last line.
I have to say I was looking for poems that didn't have any comments on them, because I feel like they should all be commented on. And I wasn't going to read yours because it had a comment. But your title drew me in, and man am I glad. I really enjoyed this, and I don't know why, I just really liked it. It's definitely one I'd come back to read over and over. |
