Lets run away to the edge of the world
To our safe place
A dark paradise
A palm heaven covered in darkness.
Where theres no ground, below our feet,
Just warm winds and erotic heat
Lets lay and watch the stars
My fingers wonder over your veins,
Fallen on the beach,
The universe slowly drifts away
Leaving us
Immobilized
Floating in the mirage that cannot be seen
Bodies saturated in the eternal shade
Closer to heaven that we have ever been
I dont want to fall sleep
Just want to dissolve into the warm wind
And have you lay next to me
In this dark paradise,
A palm heaven submerged into cosmos
With your body pressed against mine,
Our hearts aligned and veins intertwined
The night taking us away,
Further and further away
The stars disappearing
Floating further into the unknown
You hold on to my hand
As we proceed to a higher plane
Completely alone,
Were dreaming again.

| Nice write, I was expecting dark the whole way through, but I felt it got lighter by the end... Great piece keep at it! |
