How Life Works

Contributed by TundraHydra on Saturday, 10th May 2003 @ 10:35:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Nostalgic

Everyone goes through crap and deals with *****
Life determines who continues and who will quit
It plays by its own set of varying rules
Leveling the playing field by killing one or two geniuses and a couple hundred of fools
But this is just what one can expect
Only in ones old age will one have time to sit and reflect
Ludicrous events happen everyday in everyway
And people will always gather to comment and give their say
How things are never the same as they appear
Like an ice cube that is fiery hot and fires it will sear
It is bizarre things as such that should be expected
One who controls the odd and unnatural is feared and respected
This is done only if the world around realizes it
Otherwise one will be looked down upon and treated like worthless *****
I am one of those controllers but I choose not to reveal that fact
I care nothing for being feared and respected for being a power wielding crack
I control myself and my mind, which is all I do
But no one knows what I am and what I can do, they have not a clue
Like I said Life has many a rule
I prefer being an exception to the rule, by being my own tool
But hey, anyone can do it; one only must pay attention in school
