You took my trust
I told you things not many people knew
You gave into your lust
And left me feeling blue
You knew we were just friends
And thats all I ever wanted
Because of you it had to end
And now you left me haunted
I got drunk
You got your way
Youre a ***** punk
Ill never forget that day
Im forever scarred
And youre to blame
You made my life hard
Now I walk around in shame
You dont even realize
How bad you hurt me
Now you tell lies
And make me want to flee
I wished I could forget
And that you were still my best friend
But you werent legit
And I can no longer pretend
You broke my trust
Stole a piece of my life
Just to satisfy your lust
It cut me deep like a knife
I want to know why
You did that to me
Im left to cry
Why couldnt you just let it be?

good to read and to know. I've been there, on both sides.
Confidences shouldn't have to be spelled out in advance, one should think. I also thought before I read this about a Trust, a blind Trust, or in a business or corporate way. Who hasn't done something dumb that shouldn't be repeated. I suppose it would be ok only years later and purely in jest and out in the open among friends. It's good to remember what you wrote.
Thanks for a good poem that reminds someone to think about what Trust should mean.
