I've had many a visit with you
since you went away.
Then I wake and realize
you are gone, a dream away.
I sigh and hug my pillow
and wish that visit was real.
When I wake and sit up in bed
for moments happiness is what I feel.
then it drifts away.... in dreams while in waking moments
friend of mine said to me,
just the other day.
Don't be taking for granted the dreams
loved ones come back to us
even in death.... embrace the moments
then it drifts away.... in dreams while in waking moments...
So for now I will take those visits
and see your shining eyes
the sparkle that was you
the huge smiles all the time
because that is who you were
and I believe it with no doubt
that now you're in Heaven
you still smile that super hero smile
and you are up there riding on the Harley
and making lots of noise
and you have a special following
just a bit different kind of toy
and though you wont walk beside me
once more on this earthly plain
we will walk together every night
or sit talking in the rain....
or go for another Harley ride
and you will scare me and make me scream
just like we did in this life..... my dear sweet brother Kelly
for now I'll take it all again each night.....
if only in my dreams

Sounds like heaven might be a bit noisier than
usual.
They never leave us - they just go away for
a while.

I know it is still sad times at the loss and missing him but this actually made me smile too. This is the part that brought on a smile and a chuckle:

I imagine him scaring the ***** out of you. lol.
I truly believe that the ones that have passed on can back and visit us...in dreams and while we're awake.
Even my dog did back in July.
