That Smile

Topic: LovePoetry

That smile, the one I fell so hard for
That smile, that sent chills down to my very core
The most naturally enchanting thing this world has ever seen
Every time I see it I know this is more than just what could have been
Because when you smile, that real smile
I know every single bit of pain was worth while
I can promise you now, nothing will ever compare
When I see it, I lose all my thought and care
81 days it has been, since the start of something perfect
And every fall that ever led me here now seems worth it

The first time I held you
Arms and legs around me, I knew it was true
As I looked in your eyes,
It was the first time in years I had been free of the pain and lies
I saw in you, a reason to fight everyday
So no matter what barriers Ill always find a way
As I held you, happiness warming my soul
I promise myself that for lifes whole
I will never let this girl fall
We are perfect for each other, and even more
I told myself,
I will do whatever it takes to never see her hurt at all
Ill hold her from behind and make sure she remains tall
Because its so much more than anything before
She is my saviour from a long lost war
Look around, see if theres someone as good as me for you
I can guarantee you wont find one, because together we are the perfect two

My heart skips a beat when I see you name
I was so lost before you came
You have changed me so much and I dont ever want to go back
Any day without you would be the pitchest black
I need you; youre a huge part of me
From the moment born, we were meant to be
All the dates, the spoiling, you deserve it all
Youre the one that my heart does call
My own princess in our own fairy-tale
We are like no others, we will leave the trail
And search the worlds of uncaged love and lust
But at the end of the day youre the only must

They say that from the first look you know shes the one
Well from the start I knew you were the one
You turned the world upside down
And continue to bring a smile from every frown
One day I will marry you
Such feelings I have never felt before, and youre the cue
And as you walk down that pew, all dressed in white
The angels in the sky will take flight
Because their jobs here are done
As me and you will now, and will always be one
I love you, in every single way
Youre the one, Karina May
I will make you happy every single day
At the end of the night, next to you I will lay

Top of the line, or first in, the queue, and quite possibly the last at the same time. Just a face with a grin, perhaps, yet uniquely captured like a complex lattice recognizing its very foundation.
You know, I don't know the sensation that provoked you to write this, but I've seen photographs of people I don't know that tell this incredible story like you entitle this, That Smile.

Peace!
