anguished

It was sudden, unexpected.
She had woken up to a bed with no on beside her, Even though she knew someone was suppose to be there.
At first, She wondered, Was it all a dream?
She wondered, Was Sabrina really here?
She received no answer.
Only silence.
She escaped to her room And huddled Onto the wooden floor.
Fear encased her heart, Worry weighed down her mind, And once again, She has woken up To find a best friend and loyal companion, Gone.
Gone, Gone, Gone!
Tears rolled down her cheeks, And even though she knew it wasnt appropriate Since it was just one little thing That she shouldnt get so worried about, She had to let it out.
A howl, So horrible, so full of anguish Escaped her mouth, Escaped her room.
But no one was there to listen As she poured her tears Over spilt milk.
Though what others would see was just a little thing To her, it was more.
She was reliving the most dreaded moments of her younger life, Those accursed moments that ruined everything!
A dog A cage Tears Empty Loss Therapy.
Fear encased her heart, Worry weighed down her mind, And once again, She has woken up To find a best friend and loyal companion, Gone.
A piercing wail shook the room, And she huddled onto the wooden floor Sobbing her heart out For the loss she experienced back then, And the emptiness and fear she felt Having to feel that similar loss again When she woke up to nothing And no one.
