No Pain

Contributed by snc54 on Sunday, 30th September 2012 @ 06:14:45 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Pain? What is pain?
Pain is a fictional word,
Created by people
Who inhibit personal gain.

Pain is the core
Of those who tolerate failure.
It is the lead vocal
Of a voice unable to roar.

It makes the possible
Become the impossible.
The cheers of success are inaudible,
And the satisfaction of winning, is only plausible.

There comes a time
When boys become men,
And the voice unable to roar
Comes to an awesome chime.

There comes a place
Where you become your motivation.
In your heart, there is dedication.
And determination is on your face.

Arise from your dismay!
There must be a time and place,
Where all the turmoil comes to an end.
And that is today.

Success follows strain.
It is the ambitious who survive.
To win,
There must be no pain.

don't know if i agree there must be no pain, thus is life, how are we to
know true happiness with nothing to compare it to? although it would
be nice to not know pain, i cannot imagine, it may be a lonely paradise of one...

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
