Because youll never know how I feel
No matter how hard youd try
You might read the words Ive written
Just to write me off instead
And if we were to know ourselves
That takes a lot more planning
God knows that Ill forgive you
If you never understand me
Then one day I saw your smile
I dreamt of you at night
And then I never dreamed again
Because the real thing came to light
We hold each other close
The greatest gift that God could hand me
Is just to be the one you loved
Than another girl whod understand me
