Spellbound

Contributed by stalkee on Monday, 8th October 2012 @ 11:25:02 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

It's the falling star
It's a broken heart
It's the skyward rage
on an empty page

It's the empty bed
It's the eyes all red
It's the ghosts instead
crawling in my head

It's the regretting
It's the not forgetting
It's the hell in me
And the spell on me

It's the burning coals
inside a longing soul
It's the breaking bones
against a heart of stone

No one said it would be this way
Never thought I'd see you walk away
Did our truths turn into twisted lies
when you wiped your eyes then said "goodbye"

You took your pain and created a master of words. So sorry for your pain, but thanks for sharing your heart with this incredible verse.

Hugs
Michelle
