Time Thief

Topic: abstract

Lately I have noticed
days pass on quickly by
At times I have pondered
and asked myself why

Today i have realized
and know why time goes by fast as hell
It is because I set in front of this computer
locked in for hours by its awful spell

It takes me away
so far that I forget about the time of day
I had no idea it would suck me in
and take me so far away

Beware of a time thief
that takes us on a journey in a virtual show
It can be so addicting
on us all it can grow and grow

Even though I have noticed
why time vanishes and what is the cause
I have truly learned when using my computer
I need to occasionally take a pause

Now it is time
to go outside and breathe fresh air
The computer world can wait
I really dont care

Looking around
being back in reality is so much more
Time cannot be saved or kept
but computer things, on my hard drive I can store
