trying to find the words
so my ability would show
& make them understandable
so every one would know
everything I do
I do beyond compare
with life,love & liberty
some things I like to share
I write simple words
like anyone can do
but I try my best to make them
understandable to you
simple little words
of long ago & now
things thats happened in my life
of where ,when & how
if a verse gets off balance
& tends to catch your eye
thats when it gets confusing
& makes you wonder why
why would a man write this way
his words are very clear
it is my imperfection
in keeping it sincere
so no matter what you think of
my writings you might see
they are apart of life
of noone else but me

| My father once told me that the best writing was simple writing. I often forget that in my essays and other scholastic works, but it is something that i constantly strive to achieve with poetry. Especially when it comes to detail. Anyway, keep writing. Always, Abraham |
