Life is not only in the distance traveled
It's contained in the length of each step
A soul's not merely a thing of great marvel
It's strengthened by each tear that's wept
A heart is fashioned by its dreamscapes
Its backdrop colored by a promise of paint
Past entwines with a future no one escapes
Time's witness whether you're sinner or saint
All creation will walk in the steps from before
Eyes will behold the same earth and sky
Seconds pass as each minute opens the door
Mouths still scream to seek a reason why
One person to the next person sharing cells
No future guaranteed, upward or beneath
Only difference is the story each one tells
All weave together to form life's wreath
Look into the eyes of the next person you pass
Open your mind to realize they are you are me
Individuals exists, one to the same within a mass
Human to soul, all with different paths to see
We join life as it pursues our time travel
We make the choice as to what path to take
Forces will intercede to cause us to unravel
Believe in each other, for all our sakes
