What golden ecstasies we`d find
Within the chasms of the mind
Between each passing thought we`d see
That boundless realm infinity
Where space is not and time is not
And earthly cares long since forgot
We`d step a moment out of time
Embraced in restfulness sublime
And through Nirvana`s gates flung wide
We`d see the flame that burns inside
With integrated mind and soul
No longer we, one with the whole

Yes Val,, one withe whole in God. You are much more religious than what you admit.
A great meditation, that deals with the bliss of Nirvana. But some expect much more.
Brilliantly compoised, a great read.
Blessings

Hi,
I've never meditated ... as such. I've often stared into blank space ... is that the same?
However, if Nirvana can be glimpsed by taking up a meditation or two then I'm all for trying.
Just in case I don't get there in real time.
Beautifully scripted, as always.

I can connect with all that is within this poem and your beautiful rhythm and flow takes me away to another world.Being pedantic as I am I think the last two lines need a little bit of tweaking as I lost the rhythm then but overall its great to have another talented poet on the site. |
