I want to roll the dice today
There's so much I want to say
I know it was just for a moment
But since then, I think I've known it
My hearts been skipping like a stone
Since I saw the light that shown
from your eyes, it's been awhile
since I've worn this wide a smile
So give me an excuse
to call your phone
We'll go somewhere
We can be alone
A racing heart and trembling hands
I've got to know just where I stand
I've got your number, here I am
I've got to know just where I am
Never been this scared before
I want to meet you at your door
We'll walk the streets so very far
And then we'll dance under the stars
Give me an excuse
And I'll sweep you off your feet
By moonlight, I'll kiss you
upon the empty street
