You snare my heart
Cage my mind
I still play the part
Though I've gone blind
Shave my dreams
Strangle my hope
You tear at my seams
I connot cope
I fake my smile
And a laugh or two
Go that extra mile
Just for you
My eyes just stare
Don't take in the sights
I don't really care
I live for the nights
You whisper my name
Caress my face
So I will be tame
And keep up the pace
You beat me down
Tear me apart
Do it with a frown
And a poisoned dart
I smile in the day
Cry in the night
I've nothing to say
I've got no fight
You rip me to shreds
Stomp on my soul
Play with my head
With your heart of coal
and through it all
I've taken it
Waited for your call
Forgivin it
Still I fall
Hating it
But that is all
I'm ending it
