I want to thank you for choosing me
To be the one, your true love, your life
You were never the cold one
And I'll always remember the night it began
I want to thank you for being my friend
For showing me that I could trust you
You were always there for me
I really loved the way you put me first
I want to thank you for understanding
For letting me cry on your shoulder
You showed me what I could have
And offered me everything you had to give
I want to thank you for letting me in
For stepping deliberately into my life
You never gave up on me
And I found myself opening my heart to you
I want to thank you for being so true
For doing all you did just for me
You picked me up off the floor
And I proceeded to hopelessly fall for you
Now you've got me right where you wanted me
I love you too much to go on without you
I want you here every minute and every hour
And the time just crawls by until you call
I'll toss and turn all the lonely night long
And stay in bed to defy the blazing morning
I won't be okay until I'm holding you again
And life is glorious just because of you
