I know it must be a little strange Allowing me to try and stitch old wounds I'm not trying to be his resurrection And I'm not trying to make you forget
We don't have to run too fast We can walk and take it slow All I want is to see that smile To hear that laugh, to hold you close
We don't have to try and change the past You don't have to hide your heart You can cry and fall apart We can pick up the pieces
After all, Stained glass windows are broken too
