i know that you love me
i really do
but yet i sometimes wonder
why i have to ask certain things from you
things i would have thought you would have wanted to do
you say yes and i get all elated
you change your mind
and i feel so deflated
one day i wont ask anymore
maybe you wont even notice
it wont be like before
life is full of disappointments i get that i do
but being disappointed was the last thing i expected from you
life will go on like it has before
i will just have to stop expecting more

| Thanks for sharing.. Disappointment is.. well, disappointing. Nothing like being let down by those closest to you.. One day they will wake up and realize all the opportunities that has been lost, and then that is something they will have to live with. |
