We're just two people Like two pieces In some big puzzle That's sort of like life
Maybe you belong somewhere Like an edge or a corner And I belong somewhere else So far away
Maybe I fit in the middle While you belong a little to the left So close to me But not close enough
Maybe you belong in one puzzle Whose completed picture Looks nothing like the puzzle That I'm a part of
Or maybe we're the last two pieces Of the same exact puzzle And at the end, when all hope is lost We fit together to make the picture complete
