Lost in anonymity created by the lies of this game It's critical to be cynical but the outlook's the same Applied leverage is pivotal, we levy our blame Guilt builds in our hearts, the herald of our shame Crippling dark motives, lethargic and lame Not to say we are remedied, our evils aren't tame For iniquity becomes us, and we're burned by its flame It's shadow consumes us, and sullies our name We were never purposed pure, our meaning was to maim To lay beside our destruction, and rue what we became

We were never purposed pure............ something that I think is very difficult for many to face and explore but this you have done eloquently.I have found my freedom or at least my get out clause from the lips of my child who when I feel like I am being consumed by processes beyond my control she introduces the simple concept of I don't care and it doesn't matter because she knows I care too much. |
