I sit here looking through Memories of a time long past. Still able to hear the joy, Coming from an unexpected laugh. Darkness looms all around me, As pain knocks upon my door, Yet I stretch my gnarled fingers, And prepare for my knightly chore. Can you hear this, my angel of music, The tune that so solemnly I play? Cues I take from your promise, Condemning myself to night so you can see day. Upon your voice I hear elation, And I know that you are once again free, As once you were my anchor, Know Ill be yours if you ever get lost to sea. Remember that in the dusk, And fear not the coming dark. For I shant let the misery or the pain, Eer again put out your spark
