how can a person
be so sweet
yet so naive

how can you stand by
and watch
one of of your dearest friends
get hurt over and over again

how can you stand and watch
as your friend
cries over a guy
who doesn't even care about her

how can you not see that
even though she is fine on the outside
but on the inside
she has lost herself
and all reason to find love yet again

what kind of friend are you?
