He's asleep

Thousands
of miles away
theres a boy
with a frown
on his head
and a smile
kind of grin
curved smoothly
on his lips.

And he turns
as he dreams
in a world
I dont know.

And his smile
fades away
when he thinks
about me
and how mean
I have being.

Now whats left
is just guilt
and a feeling
of powerlessness.
As he dreams
I lay awake
with memories
that remain.

Our once love
is my keep
will he know?
Hes asleep.
