My wish

Contributed by Jordanarce17 on Monday, 7th January 2013 @ 07:44:07 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

No matter how hard I wish by the phone,
For one call,
For one simple text,
For one smile across my face.
I could wish hard,
But I know you would never come back,
Even if I died,
You would still be with him.
He deserves happiness,
I chose this path,
So I could save others,
But don't I deserve something.
I got my other half back,
But it could never be enough for you.
I want to change,
I want to see you,
Look into my eyes,
And tell me one last time,
I love you.
I'm more than alone,
I'm broken with my soul.
I put a fake smile on my face,
Just to see you pass for the day.
Inside I want you,
I would kill for you,
But I'm never worth that to you.
I said goodbye last night,
And the thought of suicide will not stop running in my mind.
You think I'll live happy ever after,
But in reality I'm broken ever after.
I want the best for you,
And obviously that's not me.
I have nothing left to say,
My emotions are hidden forever,
My heart is with you,
And my body is breaking through.
I love you and here is my wish for you,
Forget me,
Live my dream,
Live what I could never have,
Always never look back.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
