EARS VS. EYES

What do you say to the one you love?
The one who ups and leaves you to be alone
My ears to my mind
My heart to my eyes
You say today is our last, I did hear you right?
Your heart tells me you want to stay, my eyes tell me so.
A destiny you left to be behind
The love we shared no one could find
You tell me that this is the end
But my eyes see we just cant be friends.
Wont you just hold me close, never let me go.
Tell me you love me, so that I would know.
Come by, so I dont feel this goodbye.
Call so I wont have to fall
Fall over into this long dark hole.
This love for you no one could ever know.
Why? Why? Why?
My ears hear and my eyes see
Dont fail me now, please let us be.
Our hearts cry, you leave all the tears today.
You say you wont go, yet you leave me behind.
Maybe again, and I see you with a different friend.
Dont lie to my ears, when my eyes can see
Never say you love me, when my eyes know the truth.
This love, now knowing, wasnt for me.
My ears fooled me I almost believed
My eyes now clear, wont lie to me.
