I hab a code in by dose

Contributed by softerware on Saturday, 26th January 2013 @ 10:57:31 PM in AEST
Topic: HumorPoetry

My head is all fluey;
I wheeze when I sneeze.
My brain is like gluey
Im weak in the knees

My eyeballs are sloshy
My world is a smear
But Ill tell you by goshie
This flu bug ends here!

The nightstands a battlefield lined up with tricks
Aspriin, Nyquil, Kleexnex and Vicks;
My hair is a toilet brush, tangled and knotty;
My jammies are sticky all over my body!

Im locked in the house
While my better half mothers
Smothering germs under layers of covers!

No one comes in, and no one goes out;
Youll not catch me spreading his flu bug about!
You may have got me, but you wont make it two!
Ill stay in this house til YOURE turning blue.

Is there a bright side to having the flu?
Of course! No one asks me to bring, get, or do!
The dishes get washed; the dog gets fed;
While I snooze away in a cozy warm bed!

Family pays court while I sniffle and daub;
Anxious to have me back on the job.
But as I vowed, Im determined to stay
Safe in my room til this flu goes away!

If every one did the same as you there would be a lot less flu every where.
It really irks me when someone with the flu that works with food goes to work any way. Just imagine all that catches it from there food.
Good write and get well soon.
Blessings,
emy

I too hab the same darn thing, a thousand two-ply counts of tissue, slept easily through a day or two, another week maybe two,
and you start to feel you again, but not exactly. Was it the flu,
who knew, or could precisely say? You did.

Thanks man! Achoo...!!!

I had it for about 9 days! Ugh! Thank you for this lighthearted take on that relentless unpleasant bug!

You've actually made me smile at something I always dread......the cold that just won't go away despite your best attempts.
It tickled me immensely, though thankfully in a far more pleasant way than a cough!!
