I trace a note of sadness on your face.
You've been here sometime before.
Don't try to run, don't try to hide,
From the voice that sits inside.
Let it torment your dormant mind
And linger in the air like haunting ghosts.
Make up a lie and smile.
A tear trickles down your cheek,
You've lost the battle, wave the white flag,
Let the demons cheer,
They have won.
And they shall sing in the voices of victory.
They shall not repent.
And they sing close to your ear.
It's over, its over.
Youve lost.
Surrender, succumb.
To the lose of senses. You are numb.
You kneel in silent prayer beside the bed,
And the words linger in the atmosphere,
Sorrow is left unsaid.
The mother weeps silently in despair,
As she is the witness to madness.
Youre destroying it all.
You are in ruin.
