A boy’s joy

Unspeakable joy
Of a 71 month old boy

Together since his commencement
I witnessed his happiness and ailments

The senior not present for the junior
The junior needing a mentor

The witness steps forward
Attributes not of a coward

Replacing the senior
The witness is the mentor

Unspeakable joy
Of a 71 month old boy

A joy thats true
Of an uncle and nephew
