for sale
I am trying to sell an item
recently torn apart
I tried to put it back together
with no place to start
I've given up on fixing it
as anyone would do
so in trying to get rid of it
this deal I offer you
it's been threw some bad problems
but I never had a doupt
the equipment that it works threw
has always been stout
it's had some bad breaks
but we fixed them just the same
everybody told me
the owner was to blame
after many hours to justify
being torn all apart
I've given up on fixing it
it's a simple little heart

| i now know why you are called the hot shot poet.this poem is clever concise and memorable, the sudden realization of what you are describing as broken revealed at the end adds sudden weighty impact resulting in a dose of empathy felt by the reader, well thats what i felt anyway,, makes what starts out seeming like an interesting poem into a very emotional one,, powerful and unexpected. great |
