I did something different
in a much inspiring way
I dropped down on my knees
& I talked to god today
I had a voice come to me
saying dont be sad
the hurting deep inside of you
kept you angry & so mad
he said he has watched over me
everywhere I'd go
although I did'nt realize
the pain had would surely show
he said I hid behind a smile
that all could surely see
but he said he always knew
what was hurting me
all the answers to my prayers
were easy to retrieve
he said all I had to do
was truly believe
he knew I did believe in him
but for so long I left him out
for he cannot show the way
if the heart has any doubt
if my life wants to see
what dreams are all made of
I must know I cant have happiness
with out our God above
