for so many years I've hidden
deep inside a shell
staying bottled up inside
thinking I was doing well
I watched my world fall apart
Right before my eye's
I had to hit Rock bottom
before I would Realise
I was going threw the motions
just trying to play the part
just doing what I had to
to protect my heart
life has many obsticles
new one's every day
the hardest one I've ever faced
was when my world had walked away
my downfall was my thinking
it wont happen to me
now I spend my days alone
with this cold Reality
the point that I'm putting out
is no matter what you do
if you think that it cannot
it can happen to you
so hold your true love closely
show their special in every way
your love will stand the test of time
growing stronger every day
