my hopes are important
I feel I'm at a loss
all I have to talk to
is my bible & a cross
they seem to understand me
& the pain I'm going threw
they seem to brighten up my life
what my world has turned into
they show me there's a better way
to be all that I can be
that happiness awaits
somewhere just for me
I've dissabled my companionship
the world I use to know
to simply hide the pain
hoping it would never show
there are very few people
that know me & can see
what I've truly lost
was the very heart of me
though I struggle to find a smile
with everything I've lost
I feel happiness will find me
threw my bible & my cross
