how do you do it?
relax me when no one else could
free me from myself
when i was caught up in
my own world
how could you say
the right thing
that could
smooth out
any worries
that were in
my mind
why must it be you
who could be the one
that can strengthen me
yet weaken all at once
you have this gift to be
an amazing asset
and yet you can tear me down
with a snap of a finger
why must i be around someone
so deadly as a rattlesnake
that isn't good for me
but is sweet as honey
to protect me whenever i need them?
how do they do that?
